THE Master in Human Development (MDH) It was approved by MEC / CAPES in the year 2009, having started its first class in March 2010.
Human development is the purpose of research and graduate study in Human Development. The course shows the view that man is a being active in their relations in different environments, like family, the work, school and community. The human being participates in the inter-relations in various places and can also influence the immediate context of environments in which is not active and this directly. The environments are immersed in the macro system, which corresponds to global standards ideologies, of beliefs, forms of government and cultures present in daily life.
The course has a teaching body formed by doctors, with experience in teaching, in academic advising and significant publications in the field. Teachers are involved in research projects with external funding support agencies.
OBJECTIVES
train researchers, generate knowledge from an interdisciplinary look and analyze the construction of individual identities, social and professional. Investigate and reflect on the training environments, its forms and their contexts and point contributions to human development. Encourage dialogue and exchange with graduate programs and with national and international research teams, that enfatizem Latin America.
ACTING
Professionals can follow an academic career, at universities or research institutes, in addition to acting as teachers in public educational institutions, private and third sector. Work on social policies allow the development of diagnostic and policy planning in the public and private sector.
